Postdoctoral fellows, Dr. Chris Foster and Dr. Christina Webb, along with Dr. Rodrigue and Dr. Kennedy, traveled to Miami in January for the 2020 Human Amyloid Imaging (HAI) conference. Dr. Foster presented work demonstrating the negative influence of both brain iron and beta-amyloid on entorhinal cortex volume in healthy older adults. This work has since been accepted for publication in the journal Neurology (hyperlink paper when available).

Several members of the lab, including Dr. Rodrigue and Dr. Kennedy and postdocs Dr. Foster and Dr. Webb, attended the 49th Annual Society for Neuroscience conference in Chicago in October 2019. Chris gave a nanosymposium talk on the structural properties of the hippocampus and their role in supporting episodic memory across the lifespan (since published in the journal Hippocampus, https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/hipo.23133).
