We run a variety of studies at the Center for Vital Longevity and are always looking for volunteers! Fill out the interest form above, or send us an email at AgingBrain@utdallas.edu to get involved.

Brain Imaging Study

We are currently recruiting individuals for a federally funded study of healthy aging, brain imaging, and cognition. The study involves four visits – two at the Center for Vital Longevity, one at the Center for Brain Health, and one at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Participants must be right-handed, native English speakers, age 50 and up, have a High School Degree (or equivalent), and no history of neurological disease.

Studies typically include two 2-hour cognitive testing sessions at CVL, one 3-hour MRI session at the Center for Brain Health, and one 2-hour PET session at UTSW Medical Center. All appointments are scheduled at your convenience. Cognitive testing will include tests of memory, problem-solving skills, visual-spatial abilities, and vocabulary. Compensation will be provided for your time.
